12 Remote Area People to Get Telemedicine Service
People living in 12 remote areas like Sajek in Bandarban are going to get telemedicine and emergency food delivery services. This service will be jointly provided by Turkish Embassy and Bangladeshi youth social organization 'Bloodman', Country’s 1st Digital Blood Donation Organization.
Planning Minister M. A. Mannan inaugurated this initiative called 'Tour for Social Goods' season-02 on Wednesday. In addition to this initiative, health camps, tree plantation, garbage cleaning and emergency food support will be provided. More than 500 families will be provided this service and free medicine in each health camp.
Addressing the chief guest at the inaugural function, the planning minister said, “We support our youth and I would like to invite Bloodman to organize the first camp in Sunamganj. Turkey is an old friend of Bangladesh and we want to strengthen the relationship with them."
Mr. Mustafa Osman Turan, Ambassador of Turkey appointed in Dhaka, presented the keynote of the event. He said, “The Turkish government is a friend of Bangladesh and we are happy to support the social initiative, which is a meaningful initiative. We are happy to support young entrepreneurs like Bloodman."
Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, Max Group and Vice Chairman, Bengal Commercial Bank, as the special guest. He said, “Max Group has helped more than 10,000 people with food and medical care during Covid-19. We will extend our support to Bloodman and its social initiatives in 12 locations.”
Md Sahariar Hasan Jiisun, Founder and Chairman of Bloodman said, “In the first season of Tour for Social Goods, we helped more than 4000 people with health advice, emergency food and free medicines. We are delighted to have the Government of Turkey, Hon'ble Minister of Planning, Chairman of Max Group and Daraz with us and it is very inspiring for the youth.”
